The analyst Katy Huberty has released some rumors in a note to investors, following a meeting with senior representatives of Apple. The company may launch a new Internet based service and consequently a killer-app for iOS.
The famous messaging application, probably the most widely used app due to its cross-platform support, is once again at the center of legal problems, as usual related to the infringement of privacy.
Anyone who has used at least once WhatsApp knows that the application access our contacts so we can send messages to all our friends and acquaintances. But according to the consideration of Canadian “Guarantor of Privacy”, and the Dutch authorities in charge of data protection, the application is contrary to some privacy laws.
