Skype Updated To Version 4.5, Introducing Automatic Call Reconnection In Case Of Signal Loss

The well-known instant messaging and VoIP call application has been updated to version 4.5 with interesting news and fixes minor bugs.

Skype has been updated on App Store introducing some important news, also fixed some bugs that caused application to crash and bring the device to the Home screen. On iPhone 5, the app crashed quite often and now the situation seems to be greatly improved.

Skype has over 250 million active users around the world and has certainly needs no introduction. Here’s the official change log available on app store:

  • Skype automatically reconnects a dropped call when your WiFi or mobile network reception is poor
  • General fixes
