Through an official press release, Apple announced that from December 14, iPhone 5 will also be available in China.

That’s right; the Cupertino Company has just released an official statement declaring that from Friday, December 14th, the iPhone 5 will be available in China. While the iPad Mini will be available from December 7.

Here is a summary, the official statement released by Apple:

CUPERTINO, California―November 30, 2012―Apple® today announced the Wi-Fi versions of iPad® mini and fourth generation iPad with Retina™ display will be available in China on Friday, December 7, and iPhone® 5 will be available on Friday, December 14.

Note that currently the iPhone 5 is available in 47 Nations, while the iPad Mini and fourth generation iPad is only available in 42 countries.
