The new iTunes 11 was released few days ago, and for those who have had the opportunity to install it, will certainly have noticed a considerable simplification of the entire player.
The windows are much larger, many functions have been grouped and in general we can say that it has been completely renovated. For those still failing to get used to of the new style and wants to go back to the old display without downgrade (and thus losing all the new features introduced with the new version), here is some advice on how to make the new player similar to the previous.
Restoring Sidebar
1. On menu bar click on View.
2. In View menu click on Show Sidebar.
The restoration of the sidebar will automatically turn off a couple of new features such as the appearance of a slide to the right when you move tracks.
Activate Status Bar
1. Click on View on the menu bar.
2. Select the option Show Status Bar from view menu.
At this point all you have to do is go to the tracks and you’ll see the old layout.
