Many of you know i0n1c, famous hacker, creator of the exploit in iOS 4.3.3 and one of the leaders of the world’s most popular jailbreak. Communicated via tweet that long-awaited jailbreak of iOS 6 will probably never see the light.
Stefan Esser known as i0n1c is a leading character in the Apple world, relative to the field of jailbreak and Cydia tweak. He was the inventor of the untethered jailbreak of iOS 4.3.x, and since then, thanks to his work on Twitter, has become quite popular.
A few minutes ago German hacker has published a terse tweet:
“Should people get over it. There will not be a public untethered jailbreak iOS 6.0/6.0.1”
It seems clear that hackers working on the jailbreak want to safeguard the exploits found, and use them on a newly released iOS version, to increase longevity.
