Gaming on iOS devices is becoming more and more popular day by day. You can find a large number of apps on Apple app store that you can use to play games on your iOS devices. If you are a Sony PSP lover, and you want to play a PSP game on your iPhone or iPad, would it be possible? Well, it is not impossible now. You can install PSP emulator on iPhone or iPad, to enjoy a classic PSP games on it.

Following are the simple steps that you can follow to install PPSSPP on your iOS devices.

Note: Please note that you can only install PPSSPP emulator on your jailbroken iPhone, iPAd, or iPod touch.

1st Step: Launch Cydia on your device. Now go to Manage>> Sources>> Edit>> Add, and enter this respiratory

2nd Step: Wait until the respiratory response by refreshing and bringing in the hosted packages. Search for PPSSPP, select it, and tap on install.

3rd Step: When the installation of PPSSPP is completed, tap on the option Return to Cydia. A PPSSPP icon would appear on the home screen of your iOS device.

4th Step: You can now tap on the icon of PPSSPP on your home screen to launch it.

You have successfully installed PPSSPP on your jailbroken iOS device, and now you can play any PSP game on it. But you have to put and turn your games into .ISO or .CSO format by yourself, because the app has no such files by default. You can also select a game from a number of homebrew type games online available.

It is necessary to copy .ISO or .CSO files to your device’s directory. When you launch the PPSSPP emulator, you’ll see a Load option, tap on it and you’ll be directed towards the directory of games.

Note: You have to install and correct the format of your already owned games on your jailbroken iOS device. The following steps are to be followed afterward.

1st Step: The location of the folder from where the PPSSPP emulator pick up a game is var/mobile/documents. It has nothing by default, so you must have to put games there.

2nd Step: Usually, a PSP game file is larger than 450 MB, so it would be a better idea to transfer it through a wired connection, otherwise it may take long time to be transferred completely. You can copy the game file to a directory on you device.

3rd Step: Launch the emulator from the home screen, tap on the Load option, select the directory where you have copied the game. Launch your favorite game and play.
