A few days ago, we have told you about CarrierEditor, a new program for Mac that allows you to change the operator logo on iPhone without jailbreak and using Cydia tweak. Today, we suggest you CarrierEditor for Windows, the first program of its kind designed to be compatible with the Microsoft platform.
CustomCarrierLogo works in much the same way as CarrierEditor: exactly like the Mac program, CustomCarrierLogo also allows you to change the status bar by going to insert a custom operator logo.
Follow the steps on how to create custom operator logo for iPhone without jailbreak on Windows PC:
Step 1: Download CustomCarrierLogo from here and install it on your PC.
Step 2: Identify the carrier version of your iPhone or iPad, for this go to Settings > General > About.
Step 3: Enter the carrier version number of the field “Current Carrier Version.”
Step 4: Select your device and carrier from the drop-down menu under the heading “Current Carrier Version.”
Step 5: Now you have to choose the logo to be used. One of the most interesting aspects of CustomCarrierLogo is the ability to not only upload logo made previously, but also, if necessary, to create new ones. Unlike CarrierEditor, CustomCarrierLogo does not come with packages of Zeppelin.
Step 6: Once you have chosen the logo you want to use, click on “Create IPCC Carrier Bundle”. It will create two new ipcc file on your desktop (one original and one modified).
Step 7: After doing everything described above, open iTunes and connect your device. Select your iDevice and move to summary page. Hold Shift button on your keyboard and click Restore.
Step 8: Select iPhone/iPad Carrier Configuration located in drop down menu in the bottom right-hand corner. Now all you have to do is select the modified file that you previously created and pass it through CustomCarrierLogo. The carrier settings will be updated with the new logo.
Step 9: To restore the original logo, repeat step 8 and select the original IPCC file instead of modified and reboot your device.
