A well know mobiles and handheld games website PockerGamer has sent Apple a list of 7 interesting innovations that we may expect in the upcoming version of Cupertino’s mobile operating system iOS 7.
PocketGamer has created its own “wish list” regarding expectations about the upcoming iOS 7. Lets checkout the upgrades suggested:
1. Redesigned Game Center Application
Currently the functionality of Game Center is a bit limited, while it would be much more interesting if a chat within the application is introduced to communicate with friends, see user available to play and start a multiplayer game.
2. Improved iCloud
Despite the continuous development of cloud service of Cupertino, this is still far from perfect. Apple could use the iCloud services for the management of notifications when you have more than one Apple device, such as an iPhone and an iPad.
3. Redesigned Graphical User Interface
In one word: themes! Apple insists on not allowing graphical changes in Springboard, while many would like to customize their device. I also believe that many would like animated wallpaper i.e.; Android type, or you can choose to browse the pages vertically rather than horizontally.
4. New Application for Photos
Apple should install the iPhoto application natively on all iDevice and give the possibility to insert tags and location to photos.
5. Improve Multitasking
Introducing the ability to preview your open applications directly in the multitasking bar can turn out to be a very handy feature. Another much needed feature is to close all the opened apps with a simple gesture.
6. Choosing the Default App
If we open a link, Safari mobile browser is launched automatically, if we select a photo and want to share it via e-mail Mail is started. So you can not choose which applications to use by default for common tasks such as sending an email, but it would be interesting to set third-party application as the default.
7. Improved App Store
The App Store has just been changed graphically, but also should be improved from the performance point of view. A new feature that would be greatly appreciated by the vast majority of users is the ability to test an application before purchasing it.
These are just some ideas that will be added to the concept developed at this time, but still do not really know what to expect from iOS 7.
