According to the independent company StatCounter, Apple has won first place in connection with the use of the web on the move. Cupertino devices are used more in fact than those of Finnish Giant, who held the lead until the last quarter of 2012.

Despite the recent disappointing results on the stock market, Apple is preparing to sign record after record in all fields. According to the company StatCounter which deals with mobile internet usage analysis, the Cupertino Company would surpass the rival Nokia for the use of their devices to access the internet on the move.

The study shows that Nokia has always been at the top of the rankings, has lost more than 15% in the last quarter compared to the same period last year, from 37.67% to 22.15%. Despite the favorable outcome, the utilization rate was at a loss for Apple, from 28.67 to 25.86%, with a loss of almost 3%.

The one company that appears to be growing over the previous year seems to be Samsung, with an 8% increase in the use of their mobile devices, reaching 22.69% dangerously close to the results of Apple.

The statistics only considered smartphones and pocket devices (e.g iPod touch), but not the tablet. With the inclusion of the tablets we are sure that iOS devices would largely prevail over rivals.
