Fix Weather App Issue Caused By Jailbreak Tool Evasi0n

After running the Jailbreak all users have witnessed a problem with the Weather app. pod2g has just announced a way to solve it, but it is only for advanced users, and soon everyone will be able to solve this problem by simply installing a package from Cydia.

evasi0n – evad3rs team tool to Jailbreak iOS 6.x on iPhone 5 and other iOS devices was released yesterday and unlike tool released in previous years, it has proved very effective. However, all users have encountered a little problem with this jailbreak: the Weather app is not working.

I call this “little problem”, because it really does not affect the success of the jailbreak, installing Cydia or installing applications and tweak, also all the other functions of the iPhone are not compromised. If you are looking for an alternative Weather application we recommend you “The Weather” app available in app store.

Hackers have indicated that they are working to resolve this issue, meanwhile pod2g has posted on his blog a solution, but dedicated only for advanced users. This is a script that forces the reconstruction of the file “com.apple.mobile.installation.plist” and that should solve this problem.

The same pod2g said that soon will be released a Cydia package that will allow all users, even those with less experience, to solve the problem. The hacker specifies that the procedure has not yet been tested enough, but should be no problem, in any case, before running the script you should make a backup. Below we have the script, but following the conduct of pod2g, we will not explain how to use it.

# / Bin / bash
chmod-x / usr / libexec / mobile_installation_proxy
killall -9 mobile_installation_proxy
rm / var / mobile / Library / Caches / com.apple.mobile.installation.plist / var / mobile / Library / Caches / com.apple . LaunchServices-045.csstore
launchctl stop com.apple.mobile.installd
launchctl start com.apple.mobile.installd
while [! -F / var / mobile / Library / Caches / com.apple.mobile.installation.plist]
do
sleep 1
done
while [! -F / var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.LaunchServices-045.csstore]
do
sleep 1
done
sleep 10
chmod + x / usr / libexec / mobile_installation_proxy
sync
reboot

Weather app not working is the only problem that has been encountered by all users. All the other problems in the majority of cases are solved with a forced restart, or by pressing the power button for 10 seconds and the home button.
