Apparently team evad3rs released evasi0n version 1.5.2 last night that with a problem that occurs on Windows computers, then the team had to quickly release the new version of evasi0n.

Just after few hours of releasing version 1.5.2 of evasi0n, which adds new languages to the tool, the team evad3rs has released a new version 1.5.3 of its tool to jailbreak. Even in this case the update affects only the tool and not the Cydia package, because the version 1.5.3 evasi0n only solve a problem linked to the execution of the program on the computer. Particularly on Windows, the software does not start or crash.

You do not need to rerun the Jailbreak and you don’t have to install any new package from Cydia. You can download evasi0n 1.5.3 from the official website , choosing the platform you use between Windows, Mac OS X or Linux.

I would remind you that on Windows you have to run evesi0n as Administrator: click the right mouse button on the icon of evasi0n and from the drop-down menu select “Run as administrator”.
