Stefan Esser known as i0n1c, one of the popular hacker has announced via a tweet that he will release a beta version of M00nsh1ne; a new tool to untethered jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 and 6.0.2 on Christmas Eve.

i0n1c always tease his followers with pinching tweets on twitter. In exchange of words with twitter user “Just Another Hacker” the hacker disclosed about the release of new jailbreak.

Here is a tweet from Stefan:

“Yes, I just got a Beta of the new tool to jailbreak iOS 6.0.1/6.0.2, M00nsh1ne, as a Christmas present”

Few days back i0n1c said that the untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 will never see the light, but it seems that he has taken a u-turn. From today’s declaration, it would seem that we will soon have M00nsh1ne a new jailbreak tool to untethered jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 and 6.0.2.
