A new job announcement posted on the official page of the Apple website is suggesting some possible innovations that will be featured in the next version of iOS. In particular could be released many new APIs and Frameworks for iOS 7.

The list of vacant positions gives no indication on the new APIs that may appear in the next release of iOS, but it is a tacit confirmation of their presence.

By itself, the new API would not be a surprise since Apple has always added a lot of new features with each software update, but the presence of this list is one of the rare situations in which Apple has leaked something interesting.

The lists give no indication as to when the next version of iOS will be released, but if we see the road map of the other years, Apple will unveil the probable iOS 7 in its annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

The last year’s WWDC was held in early June and the company offered us a first look at iOS 6 equipped with the new Maps application and Passbook. The software update was released three months later, in September.
